Meanwhile, there have been many requests for additional information and I have provided a plan for the board to follow in order to meet the 2020 growth. I will attach the plans within the portfolio. I am asking that the board think about considering the work that I have done since January and will continue to do through August, to meet stated milestones. This work has been detailed and taken my efforts in many directions. 5/19/15 memo concerning additional work can be viewed here.

GO Bond Side-by-Side Comparison of $60-$75-$82 Million Bond
GO Bond Meeting Questions Answered
Memo to Mayor Baskett Requesting Referendum
I would like the above to be considered in the discussion of the Performance Goals. I think the work that I have completed with the work that I can complete before I leave office, should put the the new Superintendent in a decent place to meet the enrollment growth.
If the Board stays on course, the following will need to be discussed and action taken:
- Report Card- a two year goal, with 2014-2015 was being Year One: draft report cards K-3, 4/5; focus group results, research, committee agreement on non-negotiables
- System Targets- Because of the timing, some scores are not yet available on the academic performance goal. For example, SAT/ACT results do not come in until end of September. I will provide information for that which is available. However, my recent memo indicates that perhaps only 3 of the 4 stated goals can be considered finished and funded.
- Enrollment Growth- Enrollment Reports, Annexation Update and various Presentations provided to assist Board with work with Commission, Including two informational meetings (as requested), culminating in Board decision to ask for a 75 million dollar General Obligation Bond.
- Charter- School Leadership Team Manual or Handbook, Proof of Input in the development by the SLT and results of survey

- Final budget presentation culminating in the reduction of millage by 1.4 over a two year period.
- Planning for and delivering of portables at HS, MS, and two elementary schools.

- Continued meetings with Atlanta Public Schools, culminating in a reliable rental of a facility for 2016-2017. Needs both Boards' approval.
- Two possible sites to purchase land. Reasonable down payments and costs in line with market value. One property should be secured by the June meeting.
- An alternative Early Childhood Site, should the Board decide to offer Early Childhood. Several meetings have been held about this opportunity.
- One Internal Plan developed for Board Members, one external plan which can be used for information and one brochure.
- Meeting with Decatur Education Foundation to give information so they can help tell the story.

- Meeting set for June 1 with City Commission to get Bond placed on the ballot for November.
- Construction and architectural firms on board for HS/ MS.

If the Board stays on course, the following will need to be discussed and action taken:
- Hold a session to hear from the people on the Pros and Cons of the ECLC.
- Take a vote to continue or disband the ECLC.
- If the vote is to continue, pay off the remaining amount to the Early Learning Property Management people within the next two years.
- Choose an alternative site and make a down payment pending the Bond.
- Give the people time and understanding that you plan to place the College Heights building back in service as a K-3.
- Do preliminary work to rezone (perhaps 2017-2018) school year and have College Heights open in 2018-2019; taking some burden off Oakhurst and Winnona Park.
- Begin working with two other systems to prepare for the SPLOST and determine if you want to pledge one million per year or five million to reduce the GO Bond further.
